AI Chat Functionality and Data Handling
Our website includes interactive AI chat tools delivered through the AI Engine plugin (free version), integrated with the OpenAI API. These tools are used in selected courses and self-guided journeys to support reflection, insight, and transformation. Please read the following information to understand how your data is handled when interacting with these features.
What Data Is Collected:
- When using the AI chat tool, your messages (inputs) are transmitted securely to OpenAI’s servers in order to generate a response.
- These inputs and outputs are not stored on our server unless you explicitly submit them through a form or are part of a feedback request.
- The chat history is stored locally in your browser using Local Storage. This means your messages are saved on your device so that you can continue your session if you refresh the page or return later using the same browser and device.
OpenAI API Usage:
- All inputs you enter into the chatbot are sent to OpenAI for processing via their API.
- OpenAI retains API data for up to 30 days for monitoring and abuse prevention, after which it is deleted.
- According to OpenAI’s data usage policy, your data is not used to train their models, and is not shared with third parties.
Chat Session Persistence:
- Chat data will remain accessible to you only on the same device and browser where it was entered, and only while Local Memory remains enabled.
- If you log in from another device or browser (or use a private/incognito window), your previous chat history will not be available.
How to Clear Your Chat Data:
- You may manually reset or clear your chat session at any time by clicking the “Reset Chat” button found below the chat interface.
- You may also clear your browser’s site data (Local Storage) via browser settings if you wish to erase all stored chat history.
Data Security:
- All communication with OpenAI is encrypted via HTTPS.
- No chat content is stored or shared with third-party analytics, advertisers, or the plugin developer.
- Your conversations are private and visible only to you unless explicitly shared or submitted.
If you have questions about how your data is handled or would like to request the deletion of any submitted information, please contact us via the details on our Contact page.
LearnPress Course Access and User Accounts
To access our online courses and AI-guided journeys, users are required to create an account via our WordPress-based learning system, LearnPress (free version). When registering, users become WordPress users on our site and are granted access to relevant course materials based on their enrolment.
What We Collect:
- Basic account information such as your name, email address, and login credentials (username and password) is stored securely on our website to facilitate access to your course content and progress tracking.
How We Use This Information:
- Your account data is used strictly for managing your access to our educational content, monitoring course progress, and providing support if needed.
- We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties.
- Your data is never shared with the LearnPress plugin developers or external platforms beyond those directly required to deliver your chosen services.
Newsletter Subscription via Brevo:
- Upon registration as a course participant, your email address is automatically added to our newsletter mailing list hosted by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). This allows us to share relevant updates, course-related communications, and exclusive content.
- You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email you receive, or by contacting us directly.
- Brevo’s services comply with GDPR and ensure the security of your contact information. For more information, you can view Brevo’s privacy policy here.

You have full control over your data. At any time, you may:
- Request to access or correct your personal information.
- Request the deletion of your LearnPress account.
- Unsubscribe from the mailing list.
- Contact us with any privacy concerns at [your contact email].
By using our course platform, you acknowledge and agree to these data practices as outlined above.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We may also share data collected through Google Analytics or Facebook Meta with these third parties to improve your experience and provide relevant advertising content.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for changing their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We may also share your data with third-party services, such as Google Analytics and Facebook Meta, for analytical and marketing purposes, as mentioned above.
How We Protect Your Data
We are committed to protecting your data. We use secure servers and encryption protocols to ensure that your data is safe. Additionally, we limit access to your personal information to only those employees and partners who need to use it for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
