For the longest time, I thought I created my photography business because I wanted women to feel beautiful.
To have one day where they were the centre of attention.
To be pampered. Witnessed. Held. Celebrated.
That’s what I told myself, anyway.
And yes, that was part of it. But the truth—the deeper truth?
I did it because I didn’t feel beautiful.
Especially not in photographs.
But even that wasn’t the whole story.
What I was really aching for was to feel seen.

I was building it all from my wound.
